Seva Chakkara Orphanage was founded in the year 1986 by Brahmashri Velayudham. It is a full-fledged service oriented social charitable organization for the upliftment of have-nots. The same is doing since its inception. The past two decades Seva Chakkara Orphanage has been functioning honestly and sincerely for the sufferers in general and particularly for the students as a penance.

The orphanage has been commenced its third decade as a pilgrimage with optimistically and pragmatically for the renascence of orphans.

At present strength of Seva Chakkara Orphanage is 110 inmates, of that as many as 90 students both boys and girls who are studying from Nursery to X., XI., XII., Nursing., ITI., Polytechnic., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., B.L., M.B.A, Etc.

Seva Chakkara Orphanage is a banyan tree sustaining radiation and shadowing the orphans. The benefactors and their benefactions are our pulse and strength to serve for the uplift of oppressed, suppressed and depressed people.   Service above self.
