Lathoor
Comprehensive Rural Development Scheme, (LCRDS) Lathoor is a
division consists of many Villages. It is a remote area with
undeveloped hamlets. Veeraragavapuram and Nurgunapet belong to
Lathoor division in Kacheepuram District. It is at around 80 K.M
away from Chennai via Mahabalipuram on East Cost Road ( E.C.R). Already began the
development scheme’s functional structure.
It has been adopted 10
Villages at first phase, out of 10 Villages 3 Village’s, earth work have commenced. The salient
features of the scheme will bring out basic needs for the
illiterates who belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL). The
Compressive Village development program will touch the education
from Primary School, Middle School, High School and Higher
Secondary School. Of course the programme will be a
constructional change in the villages. And a college
construction is also very inevitable need at Lathoor. On account
of these gradual developing programme will make a facelift in
the above said areas.
For this purpose the
necessary facelift is required where we can analyze and
provide the compressive programme. Education is power and a
powerful weapon for peace. On the basis to create a peaceful
atmosphere will get in these areas.
Health

This scheme will make
out very thorough knowledge about Health Care among the villagers
who are considerable extend illiterates. The literacy programme
and health care awareness will make a tremendous change in the
villages. It is a Himalayan task to introduce in the mind
of villagers. We know the pulse of the people so they should
follow and attend the classes of health awareness.

The practical and ideological teachings of health will grasp
the people. By and large minimum health amenities is very
necessary. This facilities should reach the needy. The scheme
will make in the minds of villagers how to maintain hygiene and
cleanliness. We have already planned a system of mobile
unit of health.

This Rural Mobile
Hospital will function round the clock and reach every nook and
corner of the villages. This is our very great ambitious scheme
to give optimum medical aid to the sufferers. Of course it will
be a very great boon to the villegers.
AGRICULTURE

Jeevanveda”
Villages are
the spine of India, the aforesaid villages having fertile
soil.Advanced mechanized agriculture pattern will yield a miniature
of green revolution. All most all the natural resources are
available in these villages. The people want suitable
guidance and materials to put them in to practice for high
yields. A survey has been proved it is cent percent
factual.
Animal husbandry, Dairy
farm, Digging bore wells, Horticulture, Pisces culture, Seri
culture, Mushroom cultivation, Poultry farm, Medicinal plant
cultivation, growing pant and trees is a great efforts to
maintain eco system. And also Fruit Processing in different
verities, these are the vast and wide schemes have been
undertaken to carry out immediately. It is on anvil.

development schemes. This amenities can be made a village as

spectrumatic changes in these villages and the villagers can
lead a meaningful, fruitful, useful and peaceful life.
